After the morning visit to ChuChi tunnel its time to wander around the city again...We just went around aimlessly and stop at random interesting stops we could find
downtown Ho Chin Min
Her favourite spot
We then headed to Parkson shopping mall as our friend indicated that there is also a Muslim halal food there. We went there to check it out
We didn't stop to have a bite there as we plan to have lunch somewhere else. So its off to the streets again
We then proceed to the city's General Post Office
Although its an old building but it is still being utilised as their post office since the colonial days. It's still busy with the hustle and bustle of activities. You feel like being transported 30 years back...how cool was that
People still uses snail mails instead of e-mails
they sold sou verniers here too
The old telephone booth in the background
Making a call to the President??
Another pose please
view to the outside world
More of the city activities
Stall vendors selling rice noddles (i think)
Yeaa....I was here
more parks
Mixed with modern skyscrapers
The scenery besides the riverbank
Yep...that's the last edited pics of our trip to Ho Chin Min.....very colorful city, mixture of colonial buildings, easy to get around. We did not talk to many locals but generally they are friendly people.
Next - head back to hotel, pack up and hop on a plane and start working again (huarghhhhh.....boriiinggggg). But somebody had to earn more mullah for the next holiday trip...
