This was my first attempt at G. Kinabalu. What an experience. It took us 5 hours from Kinabalu park to Laban Rata. Started at 9am and reached at 2pm. We rested and tried to get some sleep..well most of them managed to get some decent sleep..but not me. I tossed and turn the whole night but still unable to sleep. At 1am get ready for the night climb.We climbed through the darkness and cold weather. Finally we reached the summit at 5:30am.
