Shah Alam-Ranong-Myanmar-Phuket-Shah Alam (Day 1)

Our journey started in the early hours on 4th October 2012 together with my 'otai' Mr Han & my 'Guru' Mr Griffin. Originally our buddy Mr Apit is also to join us but due to his work (macam Bangla) unable to make it huhuhu.....

This ride was conceived and agreed on a short notice but we agreed that this should be a low profile ride. And at 4am I was ready (together with my new riding jacket)

We then met up at R&R Sg Buloh for early breakfast but guess what???? Our favorite nasi lemak and teh tarik shop was closed and the only 24 hours restaurant open was KFC....KFC at 5am???? tak sedapnya

But my two other buddies had their breakfast at home before coming here (smart choice)..After a while, Mr Apit came to flag us off...

After a short huhah we start our journey at 5am sharp..Our route for first day: Shah Alam-Ranong will take approximately 1100km and estimated to arrive between 9:00pm - 10:00pm. The morning weather was perfect with slight mist and we took some breaks in between for refuel...

Well, we reached Patalong at almost 10:30pm..quick check in at Ranong Resort and off to town to look for Muslim restaurant. But sad to say the shop we went has already closed for the day. Luckily for us, we got a help from a friendly local who happens to speak Malay, she then guided us to a restaurant about 2km outside the town.

When everything is done..burrpp (happy faces...)

After a heavy meal we head back to our resort for a good night rest.

The journey was long and the weather was mixed with heavy rain and at some point sunny but its all worth it and we wait for tomorrow for our adventure to cross Myanmar

Check out the story in the next edition yo...
