endau rompin 9 - 12 February 2005

Its another of my outdoor trip. This time away to the waterfalls and rivers in Endau Rompin. Its located in the Taman Negara National Park. Got to drive through Kluang, then to Kahang then to Kampung Peta before getiing on a boat ride to Sg Jasin campsite. Then proceed to Kuala Marong campsite for the night. Beautiful campsite with clean toilets and exception view. Able to see lots of ikan kelah swimming around, which is very unique really, because it is very rare for these fish to show themselves in the open and they are known to be very hard to catch. After spending the night, we proceed to Buaya Sangkut, Upih Guling & Tasik Biru areas which was again very beautiful. The third night, set up camp at Sg Jasin. During our stay lots of fresh signs of elephant and some tiger tracks. Looking forward for my next trip.
