Guangzhou-Shengzhen-Hong Kong - Day 4

Today is our last last day in Shengzhen...

We have few hours before leaving to Shengzhen so I decided to have an early walk about around the hotel area to feel the lifestyle and see if there's any interesting activities there. While YB, Shah and his spouse went out for last minute shopping (cari toys for their kids)

So lets go....

This the full view of our hotel...

Across the road, I walk around waterfront...the Pearl river flowing in the morning

Ehh...what's this guy doing????

Apparently, there were some guys flying kites....see the small dots over the horizon??? (sori la...camera lens x cukup canggih)

Candid shot...

Tai chi??? Kung Tow??? Wong Fei Hung???

Even their restaurants practice morning briefings

Three wheeler......

The streets are still quite in the morning

Yeaaa...got our last minute shopping items

Whewwww....sempat juga lagi kan???

All ready for the trip

Met a couple from Singapore. They came from Hong Kong, travel to Shengzhen and reached Guangzhou. We are taking the opposite route

Let's go.....yahoooooo..........

More random shots of the city activities

Before leaving Guangzhou, we stop nearby the Canton tower once again to take pictures. We were unable to do so on the first day due to rain...(still rasa frust sebab tak dapat naik cable car huhuhuu)

On the way...

Looks like its gonna rain???

Naah...just a bit cloudy

The drive took us about 3 hours...almost there now

Notice that golden glaze building on the background??? Unique kan?

That dome on the background is actual our hotel...the hotel name is Musilim hotel I guess that's why they adopt the Islamic design

The room is small and the furniture are quite old....

The view from the hotel balcony

We quickly put our luggage in our rooms and went straight to the hotel's restaurant which is located at the 4th floor.

Apa nak order ni?? Macam macam ada....

This is waht is ordered...forgot what its called but its like nasi briani and some meat soup or something

After a quick lunch, we headed to our target destination - Shengzhen Windows of the World. Its a theme park with 130 reproductions of some of the most famous attractions in the world. The theme park is about 48 hectares (48 acres)  in size.

At the entrance...com e and enjoy the pictures

There are two types of entrance tickets sold here. You can either the combo type where you can enter the theme park for the whole day or you could buy separately i.e. day or evening tickets.

We bought the evening tickets....

As the park is not open for evening sessions yet, what else can we do???  more taking photos sessions

Beautiful Greek sculptures

View across the theme park

One for the album yo....

Time to get in...first stop - Egyptian architecture

The main attraction - the Eiffel Tower but with Chinese writings on its side...
Its actual one third scale replica but its still very tall and impressive bro..

Next we went to the Kaiser's Palace as everyone was heading there

Apparently, everyday there's cultural show from various countries

Look at the size....

Next stop Arc de Triomphe

Detailing architecture design

Palace of Westminster

Suddenly there was a loud bang and we saw lights sparkling on the horizon...its the fireworks show...yeaaaa nice..

Few more attractions...

I climbed up the Eiffel Tower to have a better view from the top and I was not disappointed. The view was wow.....marvellous

My spouse waiting downstairs...takut nak panjat...gayat..

At the platform they were selling souvenirs..but its not recommended to buy here as the price is a bit high

More view of Shengzhen skyline

Nice...

It was quite a tiring walk and we did not managed to cover all the attractions and at about 10:00pm it was time the theme park closed.

Going back we took the subway

Entrance to the subway

We were not very sure where to drop off but just take the nearest to the town area..  below wandering aimlessly hahahaha

What luck!!! we bump to a Muslim restaurant  ...(bagus jugak... perut dah keroncong nie...)

Macam terkezzuut je

(Dah lapar sangat ke...minum dengan straw bukan dengan chopstick bro....)

With the owner, waiter/cook

The menu

We order some kebab type of bread and fried beef meat

It happens that the restaurant is not far from our hotel. After some hand signals, the restaurant owner understood where we were heading and offered his waiter to guide us to our hotel.

It was a short stay in Shenzhen but we managed to meet our objective...Tomorrow we shall travel to Hong Kong for our next journey

Chow Chin Chow....
